2024 Jung Ki-sook Calligraphy Invitational

Jung Ki-sook’s calligraphy invitational exhibition is held at MetaCanvas Gallery in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, from September 8 to October 12, 2024.

Eunhyang Jung Ki-sook is an artist who has worked to move calligraphy beyond the perception that it is merely pretty handwriting or a unique typeface, to win recognition for its artistry, and to raise its standing as a field of art.

The artist conceived the works while asking how best to express and convey the meaning held within Hangul. Through this exhibition, the artist shows the artistic beauty and boundless expressive power of Hangul and works to spread awareness of its artistic excellence.
