Artist’s Note

Expressing my mood through painting has always been comfortable. Expressing emotions in words felt awkward. After becoming aware of the misunderstanding in the eyes of those around me, caused by words I could not express properly, I grew even more attached to painting. Being unable to put feelings or opinions into words, and the disadvantage that came with it, was far from pleasant. What if everyone expressed themselves through pictures instead of language, as in primitive times before writing, simply sharing everything through images? My paintings are direct. The emotions circling in my head, the words I could not say, the time that remained only as thought are all spoken fully in the painting.
